Free Wi-Fi Services Across Hyderabad in 17 Locations

Hi-Tech Hyderabad goes techy again luring the attention of people across the globe providing free Wi-Fi. Hyderabad city which was being the centric of cyber growth of India. Telangana Government has been aiming to turn out the Hyderabad city as a global smart city. T-Government a bid to develop Hyderabad as a global smart city, the Telangana State government, in association with a major telecom partner of India, launched Wi-Fi hotspots across 17 locations in the city on Friday, delivering high-speed Internet to citizens free of cost.

Telangana State IT Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao is going to start a new IT services for people of Hyderabad with free Wi-Fi services from today. The Free Wi-Fi services would be available for the common public at Hyderabad’s city lake tourist spot Tank Bund (Hussain Sagar) and its nearby areas. Sources close to Telangana Government state that the foresighted project which is being launched to draw the attention globe and to increase with tourism.

It has bee stated by the ministry that IT minister would be talking to Central IT Minister Ravishankar Prasad initially after launching the Free Wi-Fi services. Nearby localities and areas like Tank bund, Lumbini Park, Necklace Road etc., will be able to be the beneficiaries of the free Wi-Fi services. Technical sources claim that approximately 1800-2500 people can login and use Wifi at a time. Evey logged in user would be able to use free Wifi for 30 minutes and at the same time net speed will be approximately 2mbps to 20mbps faster. While people of Hyderabad living in other localities and areas are eagerly waiting for free W-Fi services across made available across the capital city of Telangana as soon as possible.
